The IPv6 for e-Business Roadshow took place in March 2007, and presented seminar workshops on IPv6 around Australia as below:

Program

Mapping: This described the IPv6 capabilities that Australian businesses can access right now, and what was needed for further IPv6 deployment.
Enabling: This discussed the Enabling Tools developed by this project, including business case scenarios, a Return On Investment evaluator, a transition checklist and an Easy Access Device.
Infrastructure: This session covered underpinning infrastructure issues for IPv6, the auDA IPv6 Registry Testbed and the Domain Name System under IPv6.
Number Allocation: This described potential exhaustion of the current IPv4 space, and IPv4 and IPv6 address allocation in the Asia Pacific region.
IPv6 Easy Access Demonstration: The IPv6 Easy Access Device provides access to IPv6 tunnelling even when your ISP supplies only IPv4. It provides a simple, low-cost one-step solution to achieving IPv6 connectivity for small to medium businesses. There was a demonstration of the device and its capabilities at the workshop.

Presenters

Mr Tony Hill: Tony has been the President of the Internet Society of Australia (ISOC-AU) since 2001, and was the Society's first Executive Director. Tony is Managing Director of his own consulting business, Capital Hill Consulting Pty Ltd, providing high-level advice on large- scale research funding, strategic research management and challenging collaboration issues.

Mr Michael Biber: Michael is the Chair of the IPv6 Forum in Australia/New Zealand, Chair of the AARNet IPv6 Working Committee and External Relations Director of the Advanced Networking Forum Australia (ANFA). He is CEO of an Australian consulting, education and network software distribution company, Asia Pacific Networx.

Mr Chris Disspain: Chris is the Chief Executive Officer of .au Domain Administration Ltd (auDA) and the Chair of ICANN's country code Names Supporting Organisation (ccNSO). Chris is also a member of the board of the Asia Pacific Top Level Domain Association (APTLD).

Ms Nurani Nimpuno: Nurani is the External Relations Manager, Asia-Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC), where she manages the outreach programme and sub-regional liaison activities. Before joining APNIC, Ms Nimpuno was the Internet Address Policy Manager at the RIPE NCC in Europe. Ms. Nimpuno is the author of several RIPE documents and has been an invited speaker to several Internet meetings globally, such as the IPv6 forum, NZNOG, SANOG and various NIR and RIR meetings.

Mr Gerard Ross: Gerard is the Communications Area Manager at APNIC, one of five Regional Internet Registries in the world today, responsible for the fair distribution of Internet resources, such as IPv4 and IPv6 addresses and AS numbers. He has worked for APNIC for the past eight years and in that time has been closely involved in the regional policy development process. He has represented APNIC at many regional and international forums, including ICANN and Internet Governance Forum meetings.
