IPv6 Workshop

The event will be both hands-on and theory-based, covering the areas of:

• IPv6 Basics
• IPv6 deployment modeling
• IPv6 address modeling
• IPv6 routing technologies
• Workstation configuration
• Transition Technologies
• IPv6 security
• IPv6 DNS
• Mobile IPv6

Prerequisites

The prerequisites are an understanding of:

• IPv4 addressing
• IPv4 routing

Participants are required to bring their own laptop.

Outcomes

Participants will leave the workshop having successfully learnt the skills for understanding the basic requirements of deploying and provisioning an IPv6 enterprise network. They will be able to connect via transition or native connection to the IPv6 internet.
